What you will do

• Embed with engineering teams to enhance the reliability and scalability of production systems.
• Solve complex production problems end-to-end, from incident debugging to long-term architecture design.
• Develop software and infrastructure to improve production operations and automation.
• Collaborate on observability, capacity planning, and resiliency improvements.
• Write production-quality code to automate workflows and reduce manual effort.
• Mentor engineers and establish operational excellence practices across the organization.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• 9+ years of experience in Software Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Proficiency in modern languages like Go, Rust, C++, Java, Python, or C#.
• Strong experience designing and debugging large-scale distributed systems.
• Deep knowledge of Linux, networking fundamentals, and systems performance.
• Ability to influence technical direction across teams without direct authority.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, or distributed storage.
