Head of Engineering & Operations (Blockchain): Leading engineering and operations across infrastructure, backend services, blockchain networks, and quality management with an accent on reliability, delivery, and hands-on technical leadership. Focus on improving observability, resolving production incidents, managing cloud and platform costs, and integrating blockchain networks into the Tatum ecosystem.
Location: Brno, South Moravian Region, Czechia; Workplace: Hybrid

operates a blockchain platform with a Dashboard, API platform, backend services, internal tools, and integrations across more than 200 blockchain networks.
What you will do
- Lead team planning, prioritization, estimation, backlog management, delivery, and day-to-day operational decisions.
- Coordinate collaboration across Product, Engineering, Support, and Security while supporting engineers and removing blockers.
- Own infrastructure reliability, observability, monitoring, on-call operations, production debugging, and incident resolution.
- Research, integrate, and operate blockchain networks, while supporting the Dashboard, API platform, backend services, and internal tools.
- Set technical standards, improve documentation and engineering processes, and define release quality practices.
- Evaluate infrastructure and vendor costs, technical feasibility, SLAs, reliability, and operational fit for new commitments.
Requirements
- Approximately 5+ years of experience in infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, or backend engineering across cloud, VPS, or bare-metal environments.
- Hands-on experience with Linux, Docker, CI/CD, infrastructure automation, production operations, incident handling, and on-call.
- Working knowledge of the JavaScript and TypeScript ecosystem, including Node and Nest.
- Understanding of observability, monitoring, reliability, quality management, and operational risk.
- Ability to prioritize based on business impact, customer needs, cost, reliability, and operational risk.
- Clear communication, pragmatism, adaptability, ownership, and willingness to work with customers or customer-facing teams.

- Previous blockchain experience; blockchain expertise is not required.
