What you will do

• Oversee global fiction, non-fiction, and comic narrative development for the publishing business.
• Provide editorial direction for podcasts, audio dramas, and audiobook adaptations.
• Ensure narrative consistency across character bibles and physical consumer products.
• Collaborate with gaming teams on world-building, dialogue trees, and game lore.
• Review and approve narrative copy from external global partners to protect brand integrity.
• Identify opportunities to expand franchises into new formats and platforms.

Requirements

• Proven track record of managing or editing for major global entertainment franchises and licensed properties.
• Extensive experience in structural and copyediting for books, comics, and scripts, preferably for children aged 0-7.
• Experience creating content for US and UK markets.
• Ability to write and judge copy for both physical products and digital experiences.
• Strong communication skills for managing senior stakeholders and C-suite executives.
• Commercial understanding of how narrative drives product sales and brand loyalty.
