About the Role

You will design, build, and maintain backend services and internal tools that power Coinhako's Trading Desk operations. You'll integrate with exchanges, liquidity providers, trading venues, and internal systems using REST APIs, WebSocket, and FIX where applicable. You'll work to improve the reliability, scalability, latency, and observability of internal trading systems, automate manual trading operations to reduce operational risk, and participate in all phases of the development life cycle including development, code review, testing, and debugging.

Requirements

• Minimum 5-6 years of professional work experience as a Software Engineer in designing and building Trading systems
• Strong background in Python or Go, knowledge in C++ will be an advantage
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with REST APIs and WebSocket, and FIX connectivity
• Familiarity with the trade lifecycle, financial products, trading venues, risk controls, and execution workflows
• Experience building trading infrastructure such as order management, execution, market data, risk, reconciliation, or post-trade workflows
• Exposure to low-latency, high-throughput, or high-frequency trading systems is a strong advantage
• Experience with cloud and infrastructure tooling such as AWS, Docker, and Terraform
• Experience building systems using SQL and NoSQL databases
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced work environment
• Demonstrate a collaborative attitude with a bias toward action
• Experience working in Cryptocurrency/Blockchain/Fintech/Financial firms
