What you will do

• Deliver the specification of data transformation and validation logic for actuarial modelling and experience analysis.
• Propose simplifications to data processing based on actuarial judgement and materiality.
• Produce detailed documentation to support transparency and review processes.
• Review data inputs and outputs to ensure consistency with model specifications.
• Interpret actuarial results and present findings in a clear, structured way to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with wider teams to identify and implement process and tool improvements.

Requirements

• Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
• Understanding of actuarial principles and their application in a business context.
• Experience working with data tools such as SQL, Python, or Databricks.
• Knowledge of UK Life insurance reserving, including annuities and with-profits.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively.
• Must be based in the UK to align with office locations and benefits.

• Experience with actuarial valuation of annuities.
• Knowledge of with-profits funds.
