Graphic Designer (DoD)

Location: Must be based in Fort Belvoir, VA (On-site)

Salary: $65,000–$90,000

What you will do

• Design and deliver 2D/3D graphics, infographics, and illustrations for Army publications and training materials.
• Collaborate with instructional designers and subject matter experts to visualize technical content.
• Create visual aids for presentations, social media, and event branding.
• Ensure all materials comply with DoD branding, security, and Section 508 accessibility standards.
• Manage graphic asset libraries, templates, and version control.
• Support video editing, motion graphics, and interactive media projects.

Requirements

• Must hold an active Secret clearance.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional graphic design experience, preferably on federal or DoD contracts.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Ability to work on-site at Fort Belvoir, VA.

Nice to have

• Adobe Certified Professional (ACP) in Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign.
• Familiarity with DoD Instructional Systems Design (ISD) and Army Learning Concept.
