What you will do

• Evolve the data architecture into a scalable, cloud-native, AI-first foundation.
• Lead the transition from batch-oriented pipelines to near real-time and streaming data systems.
• Build data products consumable by AI agents, analytics systems, and business users.
• Establish engineering standards, observability, and governance across the data stack.
• Leverage AI to accelerate development, testing, and operational workflows.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve data accessibility and self-service analytics.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Analytics Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Databricks, dbt, Airflow, and Python.
• Proven track record in designing and operating modern cloud data platforms.
• Experience with streaming architectures, event-driven systems, and data modeling.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects in high-growth SaaS environments.
• Must be based in Armenia, Georgia, Portugal, Serbia, or Spain.

Nice to have

• Experience building AI-native data products or RAG systems.
• Knowledge of vector databases, semantic layers, or knowledge graphs.
• Experience enabling AI agents to consume operational business data.
