Salary: $73,000–$95,000 + 10% bonus

What you will do

• Design and deliver scalable backend services leveraging cloud technology.
• Implement modern frontend web components and applications.
• Build core web services and tools for managing imagery data.
• Participate in the full software development life cycle, including scoping, design, coding, testing, and support.
• Collaborate through code reviews, design sessions, and feature planning.
• Provide technical guidance to teammates to strengthen collective skill sets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of professional experience in full stack application development.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Strong programming fundamentals and ability to write high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code.
• Proficiency in leveraging AI-powered productivity tools to streamline workflows and research.
• Excellent problem solving, debugging, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with geospatial tools and frameworks such as Mapbox-GL, WMTS, Cesium, or GeoJSON.
• Expertise in AWS services (S3, EC2, SQS, SNS, Lambda, CloudWatch, CloudFormation).
• Proficiency in Golang, Python, Node.js, C++, or PHP.
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.
• Knowledge of container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD tools.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and distributed computing.
