R&D Electrical Testing Engineer

Location: Quattordio, Italy; hybrid working model with 4 office days per month and flexible working hours. Willingness to travel abroad is required.

Gross annual salary: €35,000 or more, plus an individual or collective variable incentive based on predetermined performance objectives.

What you will do

• Oversee and coordinate tests on EHV cable systems to assess their ability to withstand electrothermal stresses.
• Plan, prepare, and execute electrical qualification tests in the R&D Quattordio laboratory.
• Perform homologation and R&D tests on EHV cable systems at headquarters.
• Supervise and coordinate accessory installation and laboratory operators involved in installation and testing.
• Define test schedules and lead related projects.
• Maintain continuous relationships with clients, inspectors, and suppliers.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Energy Engineering, or Mechatronics.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Italian.
• Willingness to travel abroad.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Decision-making attitude, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong teamwork skills, a results-oriented approach, and an ambitious mindset.
