What you will do

• Lead on-site oversight of power and energization activities.
• Partner with Environmental, Health, and Safety teams to control hazardous energy and drive operational excellence.
• Review safety documentation and conduct audits across the energy program.
• Support electrical infrastructure management throughout the data center campus.
• Train employees on energy isolation processes and procedures.
• Coordinate with construction and commissioning teams to test and validate MEP system installation, operation, and performance under safe working conditions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or an equivalent engineering science discipline.
• Demonstrated construction management experience on large, complex projects involving substantial MEP systems, ideally in hyperscale data centers or other critical infrastructure.
• Experience with MV switching, construction and commissioning standards and practices, including life-saving system engineering principles.
• Extensive experience as a Senior Authorized Person managing electrical distribution and switching activities.
• Understanding of electrical engineering principles, including breaker coordination studies, switchgear sequence of operations, and local electrical codes.
• Familiarity with CSA and mechanical engineering principles related to cooling systems, including relevant statutory compliance.
• Strong experience managing general contractors and vendors, including RFPs, bidding processes, and change orders during construction and execution phases.
• Experience working on international projects and awareness of cultural, diversity, and inclusivity considerations in large-scale program delivery.
