What you will do

• Own and evolve Kubernetes foundations, including networking, service isolation, and autoscaling.
• Strengthen cloud security and networking architecture across GCP environments.
• Improve the reliability and performance of data-intensive systems like OpenSearch and PostgreSQL.
• Develop infrastructure-as-code and automated tooling to streamline deployments and reduce operational toil.
• Implement cost attribution and capacity planning strategies to optimize cloud resource usage.
• Enhance observability, incident response, and disaster recovery protocols for critical production systems.

Requirements

• Must be based in Europe
• Strong software engineering background with experience writing production-grade code.
• Hands-on experience operating infrastructure on major cloud platforms like GCP or AWS.
• Proven experience managing Kubernetes in production environments.
• Deep understanding of cloud networking, security controls, and distributed systems.
• Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code and automated deployment pipelines.
