Liquidity Operations Manager (Mid-Level) - Location: Cyprus (Remote)

Our technology serves more than 7 million users and powers 200+ products. We work with global partners including Visa, Mastercard, MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Ledger, and Jupiter, as well as major blockchain ecosystems.
About the role
The Liquidity Operations team keeps Mercuryo's crypto infrastructure moving. We make sure digital assets can be sourced, routed, held, and delivered reliably, at the right cost and with controlled risk.
We are looking for a Liquidity Operations Manager to improve the systems and decisions behind these flows. You will investigate production anomalies, optimise liquidity routes and provider performance, and help scale our infrastructure across products, tokens, networks, and jurisdictions.
What you'll be doing
• Investigating liquidity and transaction incidents using SQL, dashboards, logs, and transaction-level data
• Tracing issues across internal services, APIs, routing, custody providers, liquidity venues, and blockchain networks
• Comparing CEX, market maker, OTC, DeFi, and bridge routes based on spread, slippage, fees, liquidity depth, settlement, and risk
• Using data to identify pain points, investigate anomalies, and deliver optimisations for pricing, latency, and execution
• Analysing P&L and unit economics across providers, products, tokens, networks, and routes
• Supporting integrations and operational readiness for new liquidity providers, custodians, assets, and networks
What you'll need
• 2+ years of experience in technical operations, data or business analysis, trading operations, fintech, payments, or crypto infrastructure
• Analytical thinking and proficiency with structured data and system design discussions
• Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to effectively align with multiple internal teams
• The ability to formulate hypotheses, validate them with data, and identify root causes
• A solid understanding of backend architecture and financial systems
• Familiarity with crypto or traditional trading mechanics
• Strong collaboration skills and confident English and Russian
Nice to have
• Experience working with exchanges, market makers, OTC desks, custody providers, or DeFi
• Python, BI, statistical analysis, or financial modelling experience
• Experience investigating production incidents and preparing root cause analyses
• Familiarity with regulated crypto or financial infrastructure
