What you will do

• Own and deliver major AI engineering features, ensuring output quality and predictability across user interactions.
• Design and implement output-type–based AI systems, including routing, segmentation, and enforcement.
• Orchestrate agentic AI workflows, defining tool contracts (including MCP) and AI-to-system integrations.
• Build complex multi-step LLM workflows using orchestration frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex.
• Manage production prompt systems and conduct A/B tests to assess the impact of AI features.
• Develop scalable TypeScript code within a Next.js and Node.js stack, maintaining high reliability and performance.

Requirements

• 6+ years of backend/full-stack software engineering experience with production-grade TypeScript/Node.js.
• 2+ years of experience building AI/LLM systems in production.
• Deep experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic) and RAG pipelines (indexing, retrieval, re-ranking).
• Proficiency with LLM observability tools such as Langfuse or LangSmith.
• Solid understanding of Redis and relational databases like PostgreSQL.
• Location: Must be based within ± 4 hours of CET time zone.

Nice to have

• Experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol) and AI development tools like Cursor, Claude Code, or Windsurf.
• Familiarity with evaluation frameworks (LLM-as-a-judge, RAGAS).
• Experience with edge/serverless runtimes like Cloudflare Workers (KV, Durable Objects, R2, D1).
• Knowledge of payments, billing, and checkout orchestration.
• Proficiency in Python for AI tooling or data science.
