TL;DR
UAV Pilot / GCS Operator (Autonomous Unmanned Systems): Executing and reporting production flight tests for software-defined unmanned aircraft with an accent on telemetry monitoring, autonomous behavior validation, and flight safety. Focus on conducting repeatable test programmes, responding to in-flight anomalies, and maintaining compliance with SORA and EASA requirements.
Location: Stockholm, Sweden; onsite at the production facility

What you will do
- Conduct remote piloting and ground control station operations for production unmanned aircraft.
- Execute standardized flight test programmes and report results to validate system performance against design specifications.
- Monitor live telemetry and onboard video while maintaining flight conditions within the test envelope.
- Prepare aircraft systems, verify control links, and perform flight-critical hardware and software checks before takeoff.
- Lead airspace monitoring and deconfliction while coordinating with observers and flight test engineers.
- Respond to anomalies and emergencies, maintain regulatory records, and improve pilot training and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Citizenship of a NATO member state is required due to export control and security regulations.
- Valid EU A1/A3 and A2 Remote Pilot Certificates under EASA.
- Valid radio operator certificate, such as BZF, or willingness to obtain one.
- Professional experience with GCS software, mission planning tools, telemetry monitoring, and BVLOS flight safety protocols.
- Ability to follow disciplined test procedures, maintain situational awareness during long sessions, and complete regulatory post-flight documentation.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills are required.
Nice to have
- Experience as an RPIC for experimental drone testing.
- Practical knowledge of Ardupilot or PX4 autopilot systems.
- Military UAV operations or defence-sector experience.
