What you will do

• Support customers with aircraft and associated system modelling and simulation.
• Develop requirements, models, analysis tools, and data translation tools from customer briefs.
• Develop Simulink and Stateflow models, auto-code them to C/C++ and DLL, and integrate them into System-of-Systems models.
• Develop, test, debug, verify, and validate models for distributed simulations, including DIS and HLA environments.
• Analyse simulation results, model interactions, and performance against requirements and engineering estimates.
• Produce technical documentation and report issues with third-party models and simulations.

Requirements

• Engineering degree in a relevant subject.
• Experience with Matlab, Simulink, Stateflow, and auto-coding to C/C++ and DLL.
• Programming experience in C++, C#, or Delphi.
• Knowledge of flight dynamics, aircraft performance, pilot modelling, sensors, signatures, and aerospace system models.
• Understanding of Earth coordinate systems, reference-frame transformations, Euler angles, quaternions, and multi-degree-of-freedom equations of motion.
• SC-level National Security Vetting clearance, or the ability to obtain it, is required.
