iOS Engineer, Government Products

Location: New York, NY office with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week; position restricted to US citizens or lawful permanent residents.

Base pay: $166,000–$195,000 USD in Zone 1; $147,000–$172,000 USD in Zone 2; $130,000–$152,000 USD in Zone 3, plus bonus opportunities, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Build and maintain iOS features for retirement accounts, account management, and customer onboarding.
• Deliver secure, reliable mobile functionality for a government-backed long-term investing initiative.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and data partners.
• Improve application performance, testing practices, observability, and iOS release processes.
• Design and implement scalable mobile architecture patterns across the codebase.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, documentation, and reliability initiatives.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional iOS engineering experience building and shipping production mobile applications.
• Proficiency in Swift and modern iOS frameworks and architecture patterns.
• Experience delivering customer-facing features with product, design, and backend engineering teams.
• Experience improving application quality through testing, performance optimization, and maintainable engineering practices.
• Clear technical communication and constructive participation in design, planning, and code reviews.
• US citizenship or lawful permanent residency is required.
