Blue Team Lead (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Lead and manage Blue Team support services to complement Red Team exercises and improve defensive posture.
• Develop methodologies for assessing customer environments using industry best practices and threat frameworks.
• Conduct pre-engagement technical assessments to identify security gaps and control weaknesses.
• Design and facilitate tabletop and operational cyber exercises for technical and executive audiences.
• Collaborate with SOC, Detection Engineering, and Threat Hunting teams to support defensive operations.
• Develop KPI metrics, executive dashboards, and operational reports to demonstrate security improvements.

Requirements

• Active Public Trust clearance required
• B.S. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 5+ years of project management experience in cybersecurity or IT
• 3+ years of experience delivering cybersecurity services and performing assessments
• Active CISA or CISSP certification required
• Ability to work in a hybrid capacity in Washington, DC
