What you will do

• Build and scale internal platform offerings including compute, storage, and networking services.
• Design and implement comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and incident response systems.
• Collaborate with application software engineers to guide design and ensure long-term scalability.
• Act as an agent of change to incrementally improve systems as the platform expands globally.
• Utilize AI tools to build agents that reduce toil and improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, including EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Strong knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog.
• Proficiency in Python for writing efficient, maintainable, and scalable code.
• Experience with Kubernetes or other container orchestration platforms.
• Understanding of networking concepts including CNI, network policies, and service meshes.

Nice to have

• Experience operating CI/CD pipelines and associated best practices.
• Experience with RESTful and GraphQL API design principles.
