What you will do

• Manage and optimize infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
• Automate provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Helm, and scripting (Go, Python, Bash).
• Build and improve monitoring and alerting systems following OpenTelemetry standards.
• Define and track SLOs/SLIs and error budgets to monitor service health and performance.
• Implement cloud security best practices and collaborate across Engineering and Security teams to embed DevSecOps.
• Execute GKE cost optimization and resource management strategies (FinOps).

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as an SRE or Platform Engineer.
• Strong hands-on experience with GCP and GKE, including Kubernetes architecture and networking.
• Proficiency in Go, Python, or Bash, as well as Docker and Linux.
• Experience with Terraform, Helm, and GitHub Actions.
• Strong understanding of observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Knowledge of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancing) and PostgreSQL.

Nice to have

• GCP Professional DevOps Engineer or Cloud Architect certifications.
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
• Experience in FinOps, cloud security, or regulated industries.
• Familiarity with PagerDuty or similar incident management tools.
