Mid-Level or Senior Frontend Engineer (Vue.js)

What you will do

• Own portions of frontend development, from UI concepts through implementation.
• Build cohesive customer experiences across the Closinglock product ecosystem.
• Develop reusable, maintainable, and testable frontend code.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, frontend engineers, and engineering leadership on features, user flows, and product development.
• Contribute to documentation, collaboration practices, and frontend engineering standards.
• Modernize legacy applications using current frontend patterns and technologies.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with Vue.js for the mid-level track or 5+ years for the senior track.
• 3+ years of custom web application development experience.
• Experience building reactive, consumer-facing web applications and single-page applications.
• Strong JavaScript, HTML, and CSS fundamentals, plus familiarity with Git, npm, and Vite.
• Ability to collaborate with Product and Design, solve problems independently, and work effectively in an ambiguous environment.
• Ability to work on-site in Austin, Texas, United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with Vue 3, modern Vue paradigms, Pinia, Vitest, and Vue Testing Library.
• Experience with PHP, Laravel, jQuery, or mixed SPA/MPA codebases.
• Experience modernizing legacy applications with current frontend best practices.
• Interest in mentoring and using AI as an assistant for human-authored and human-understood code.
