Salary: $161,500 - $191,500 CAD

What you will do

• Develop and refine state-of-the-art NLP and Machine Learning algorithms for product integration.
• Build advanced LLM-based features, including reasoning, multilingual, and multimodal processing.
• Conduct rigorous evaluation, monitoring, and troubleshooting of model performance.
• Manage and process massive textual data sets.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams to deploy and scale models in production.
• Contribute to the scientific community by submitting papers to top-tier conferences and journals.

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD degree in Linguistics, Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related fields.
• 2+ years of NLP industry experience for Master’s holders or 1+ year for PhD holders.
• Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, and other relevant ML tools.
• Strong understanding of LLM architectures, tuning, and optimization techniques.
• Experience with version control tools such as Git.
• Must be based in Canada (Vancouver or Kitchener)
