What you will do

• Serve as a technical escalation point for complex fund accounting matters including NAV exceptions and pricing issues.
• Apply independent judgment to assess accounting, operational, and control issues in accordance with GAAP and regulatory guidance.
• Drive execution of oversight tools to ensure strong outcomes at third-party administrators.
• Advise on accounting considerations for complex investment exposures such as derivatives and private investments.
• Lead process enhancement initiatives through automation, data analytics, and the institutionalization of the ABOR data platform.
• Support strategic initiatives including fund launches, reorganizations, and operating model changes.

Requirements

• Minimum 8-10 years of progressive experience in fund accounting, fund oversight, or assurance.
• Strong technical expertise in NAV calculation, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrated experience supporting audits, SOX controls, and regulatory examinations.
• Advanced proficiency with fund accounting systems, data tools, and reporting platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required; CPA, CFA, or equivalent certification strongly preferred.
• Ability to influence outcomes and coach professionals without direct formal line management responsibility.
