What you will do

• Own and drive solution architecture for AEM Cloud Service and Edge Delivery Services (EDS) implementations.
• Lead backend development using Java, Sling Models, OSGi, and GraphQL APIs.
• Define technical standards, best practices, and non-functional requirements for performance, scalability, and security.
• Oversee CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native DevOps maturity across teams.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership, mentoring, and backlog refinement for engineering teams.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, QA, and Frontend teams to ensure delivery excellence.

Requirements

• Must be based in Ontario or Québec, Canada.
• 8–12+ years of experience in software engineering.
• 6+ years of experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
• 4+ years working with AEM as a Cloud Service and Edge Delivery Services (EDS).
• Strong expertise in Java (11+/17), Sling, OSGi, JCR, and Oak.
• Proven experience in a Technical Lead or Senior Lead role.

Nice to have

• Experience with Adobe I/O Runtime (serverless).
• Knowledge of Adobe Target, Launch, and Analytics integrations.
• Experience with API gateways like Apigee or Kong.
• Exposure to GraphQL federation and headless/composable architectures.
