What you will do

• Develop and execute test plans, cases, and scripts for healthcare applications.
• Validate inbound and outbound HL7 message flows and EDI transaction sets.
• Test end-to-end claims submission, adjudication, and remittance workflows.
• Identify, document, and track defects using tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and ensure HIPAA compliance.

Requirements

• 3+ years of QA experience in healthcare or health insurance environments.
• Strong knowledge of HL7 v2.x message types and interface testing.
• Solid understanding of medical claims lifecycle and EDI healthcare transactions (X12).
• Proficiency with test management and defect tracking tools.
• Ability to work within the specified location or remote setup in Argentina.

Nice to have

• Experience with HL7 FHIR or modern interoperability frameworks.
• Familiarity with SQL for data validation and backend verification.
• Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
• Experience with test automation tools or frameworks.
• Understanding of HIPAA privacy and security requirements.
