TL;DR

Senior PHP Developer (B2B): Designing and building a unified B2B dealer portal architecture from scratch with an accent on ERP integrations, API design, and legacy code migration. Focus on owning the MVP delivery end-to-end and integrating AI tools into the daily development workflow.

Location: Remote (within ±2–3 hours from Cyprus) or Hybrid in Cyprus. Excluding Russia and Belarus.

A major international company developing a unified B2B platform to empower a global network of retail and wholesale partners.

What you will do

• Design and build a unified B2B dealer portal architecture from scratch, routing requests to correct ERP systems.
• Develop new backend features and build API/FTP integrations between the front-end and ERP systems.
• Read, maintain, and progressively migrate legacy codebase, including refactoring legacy Java code.
• Own the MVP delivery end-to-end, from architecture proposal to production release.
• Optimize database queries, APIs, and caching layers to meet performance and latency targets.
• Integrate AI tools into the daily development workflow to improve efficiency.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with modern PHP (8.0+) and its core best practices.
• Proven experience designing and owning backend architecture independently.
• Hands-on experience with system integrations (ERP, API design, FTP-based data exchange).
• Ability to read and refactor legacy Java code.
• English: B2 level required.
• Must be based within ±2–3 hours of Cyprus time zone; candidates from Russia and Belarus are not eligible.

Nice to have

• Experience with Navision, AS400, or Sana Commerce.
• Experience with other eCommerce platforms.
