TL;DR

Portfolio Manager (Private Equity): Building and managing evergreen portfolios of private equity and real asset investments with an accent on due diligence, liquidity management, and portfolio construction. Focus on driving investment strategy, managing external partnerships, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to grow the registered fund business.

Location: Must be based in New York, NY (Hybrid: In-office Monday-Thursday, remote Friday).

Salary: $160,000–$220,000

What you will do

• Perform due diligence on co-investment and fund investment opportunities.
• Manage portfolio construction and liquidity across multiple underlying strategies.
• Drive overall investment strategy and engage with existing and potential investors.
• Monitor portfolio performance and manage relationships with underlying general partners.
• Collaborate with internal teams including Distribution, Finance, Legal, and Compliance.

Requirements

• 7-12+ years of relevant experience in private markets investing.
• Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical capabilities.
• Experience participating in fundraising discussions with prospective investors.
• Familiarity with risk management concepts associated with portfolio construction.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to problem-solve and make sound recommendations under pressure.
