Frontend Engineering Team Lead (Angular)

Location: Hybrid model (Budapest), 3 days in the office & 2 days from home

A global gaming company with a dedicated in-house team building a comprehensive Sportsbook platform across a network of international offices.

What you will do

• Lead engineers, developers, and designers toward successful project delivery for customers.
• Manage direct reports, including performance reviews, one-to-one meetings, and vacation planning.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to align technical delivery with business goals.
• Support the Engineering Manager in development, quality assurance, and product management.
• Foster continuous improvement and motivate the team to enhance overall performance.

Requirements

• Development background in building highly scalable, containerized services and applications.
• Strong proficiency in Angular, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with .NET Core, C#, Rabbit MQ, Redis, and MS SQL.
• Demonstrated ability to build effective teams, motivate, direct, and coach staff.
• Deep understanding and interest in lean and agile principles for product development.
• Must be based in Budapest to support the hybrid work model
