What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and data processing workflows.
• Integrate data from internal systems and external APIs, handling complex scenarios like event sequencing and idempotency.
• Implement transformation logic and build structured data layers for analytics consumption.
• Establish data validation, monitoring, and alerting mechanisms to ensure reliability and accuracy.
• Optimize pipeline performance and cost-efficiency to support scaling data infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Data Architects and Analysts to provide curated datasets and improve platform capabilities.

Requirements

• 3–7+ years of experience in data engineering or backend engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Solid understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data pipeline design.
• Experience working with APIs and integrating distributed systems.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and data modelling fundamentals.
• Ability to build robust, fault-tolerant systems with high attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Experience in iGaming, fintech, or high-volume transactional environments.
• Familiarity with Kafka, Snowflake, BigQuery, dbt, or Airflow.
• Experience with real-time data processing and event ordering.
• Exposure to CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code practices.
