What you will do

• Design secure, scalable, cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure spanning infrastructure, PaaS, and networking.
• Architect data lake platforms and performant pipelines for large volumes of reinsurance and market data.
• Develop proofs of concept and prototypes to validate designs and technical decisions.
• Govern third-party integrations using API-first, event-driven patterns and canonical data models.
• Embed security and compliance using zero-trust principles, Entra ID, and OAuth 2.0.
• Set engineering standards for a greenfield estate and guide implementation as a lead engineer.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in software engineering with 4+ years in solution architecture.
• Practical programming skills in C#/.NET or Python and strong SQL proficiency.
• Deep expertise in Azure infrastructure, platform services, and CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and modern UI frameworks like React or Angular with TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of microservices, event-driven architecture, and domain-driven design.
• Experience designing for regulated financial services, focusing on data residency and auditability.

Nice to have

• Experience designing agentic or AI-enabled solutions (RAG, tool integration).
• Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering tools such as Claude Code or Claude Cowork.
