What you will do

• Design secure, scalable cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure, spanning infrastructure, PaaS, and networking.
• Architect data lake platforms and performant pipelines for large volumes of reinsurance and market data.
• Build proofs of concept and prototypes to validate technical designs and support key decisions.
• Define and govern third-party integrations using API-first and event-driven patterns.
• Embed zero-trust security and compliance (OAuth 2.0, Entra ID) into all architectural designs.
• Set engineering standards for the greenfield estate and guide implementation as a lead engineer.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in solution architecture with a strong background in software engineering.
• Proven experience designing data-intensive systems within insurance, reinsurance, or financial services.
• Proficiency in C#/.NET or Python, SQL, and modern UI frameworks like React or Angular.
• Deep expertise in Azure infrastructure, Terraform, and CI/CD tooling (Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions).
• Strong knowledge of microservices, event-driven, and domain-driven design (DDD) patterns.
• Expertise in security architecture, including OIDC, RBAC, and regulated financial services compliance.

Nice to have

• Experience designing agentic or AI-enabled solutions using RAG and tool integration.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering tools such as Claude Code or Claude Cowork.
