What you will do

• Monitor and respond to incidents, alarms, and threats within customer AWS environments.
• Lead the vulnerability management process, including detection, escalation, and remediation.
• Drive the Threat Intelligence process and report findings to key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Engineering, DevSecOps, and IT teams to identify and patch vulnerabilities.
• Develop and implement operational playbooks, procedures, and security monitoring strategies.
• Analyze complex incidents to produce documentation and drive process improvements.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of practical experience leading a team of security analysts.
• Strong knowledge of AWS Security Toolchain (Security Hub, Inspector, Guard Duty) and Datadog.
• AWS Cloud Fundamentals or Security Specialty certification.
• Proficiency in Python scripting for security operations and OS management.
• Deep understanding of Linux and Windows OS vulnerabilities and 3rd party library risks.
• Expertise in Threat Hunting, Adversary Methodologies, and the MITRE ATT&CK framework.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of ISO 27001, GDPR, and Cyber Essentials.
• Experience with network, switch, and firewall management.
• Background in managing shifts within a 24/7 SOC environment.
• Active GitHub or GitLab account demonstrating tool development.
