Information Security Analyst

Location: Madrid, Spain; hybrid position with weekly time in the office. Occasional travel may be required, and working hours may involve collaboration across EMEA, USA, and APAC.

What you will do

• Design, protect, and manage security services for global security infrastructure.
• Engineer and tune cloud security solutions, including enrollment, monitoring, alerting, and security posture management.
• Implement, develop, and integrate intrusion detection, identity and access management, firewall, and related security controls.
• Assess technical designs, configurations, architectures, and implementations against security standards and compliance requirements.
• Participate in technology proofs of concept, technical evaluations, and recommendations for system enhancements.
• Improve threat detection and remediation by automating threat intelligence and sensor enrichment, while developing security metrics and KPIs.

Requirements

• 7+ years of overall IT experience in information security.
• Experience with firewalls, intrusion detection, TCP/IP networking, Linux security, risk and vulnerability assessments, and SIEM.
• Experience with Fortinet, Firepower IDS, and cloud platforms including AWS and GCP.
• Strong understanding of information security engineering, architecture methodologies, governance models, industry practices, and standards such as SANS, GIAC, COBIT, and NIST.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement with weekly office attendance in Madrid.

Nice to have

• Cloud security certifications, CCNA, or CISSP.
• Experience with SOC, ISO, and other attestation or certification reviews.
• Scripting language and command-line interface experience.
