Security Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote, Almaty, Barcelona, Limassol, Serbia. Hybrid work is available in the Limassol office, with fully remote work outside office locations. Relocation to Cyprus is supported with a visa package when needed.

Salary: €80,000 per year.

What you will do

• Own SIEM alerting by integrating endpoint, identity, VPN, SaaS, and cloud logs, while writing detection rules and reducing false positives.
• Investigate, contain, and close security incidents using clear runbooks and convert recurring findings into preventive controls.
• Administer identity and access controls across SSO, MFA, conditional access, SaaS, AWS, and internal tools, including access recertification and revocations.
• Enforce least privilege, PAM, separation of duties, joiner-mover-leaver processes, third-party access controls, and SaaS DLP.
• Improve endpoint, email, and phishing defenses through MDM, XDR/EDR/AV, device compliance, DMARC/SPF/DKIM, phishing simulations, and security awareness.
• Build API-based internal tooling and automation, own the security roadmap, and lead technical initiatives independently.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in security operations, corporate or IT security, or endpoint engineering.
• Strong SIEM experience with detection engineering and incident response, plus practical experience with identity providers, access recertification, least privilege, and PAM.
• Working knowledge of MDM, XDR/EDR/AV, email security, phishing defense, and device-compliance controls.
• Hands-on experience securing internal AI usage, including shadow AI discovery, AI-tool DLP, controls for AI assistants and agents, and AI adoption risk frameworks.
• Strong scripting and automation skills, including building tools against APIs rather than only configuring consoles.
• Clear written and spoken English for communication with engineers and leadership.
