Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Windows/SQL Server)

What you will do

• Standardize system-level architecture and automate system implementation using proven tools.
• Define security architecture including patch management, anti-virus, server hardening, and Active Directory.
• Engineer Disaster Recovery, Backup/Restore, and fault tolerance elements.
• Integrate products with hirify.global's Cloud Architecture and provide 3rd level support.
• Evaluate 3rd party software and recommend system administration utilities.
• Create comprehensive technical documentation for installation, customization, and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Must be based in or be able to work from Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
• 5+ years of experience in implementation or support of infrastructure platforms.
• Proficiency with Windows Server (2016–2025) and MS SQL Server (2016-2022).
• Experience with Virtualization (ESXi, VMware, Hyper-V) and Clustering.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and GPOs.
• Excellent English skills required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of vb scripting and PowerShell.
• Experience with Messaging Services (MSMQ, Rabbit MQ, IBM MQ).
• Knowledge of SAN management and redundancy technologies (RAID, NLB).
