What you will do

• Lead end-to-end database deployments, including design, configuration, and integration.
• Conduct architectural reviews to ensure high availability and system scalability.
• Perform performance tuning, troubleshooting, and health checks on database systems.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing guidance on database best practices.
• Create comprehensive technical documentation, project plans, and status reports.
• Mentor customers and internal teams on hirify.global features and tools.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience with MySQL/hirify.global.
• Proven expertise in end-to-end database migrations.
• Strong track record in architectural reviews and database optimization.
• Hands-on administration experience with SQL databases and Linux environments.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal).
• Must be based in Bulgaria as no visa sponsorship or relocation is provided.

Nice to have

• Experience in enterprise environments or large-scale projects.
• Hands-on Java development or Apache Ignite expertise.
• Experience with Oracle and Oracle migrations.
• Certification in MySQL or hirify.global technologies.
• Multilingual (English + 1 or more European languages).
