What you will do

• Lead technical delivery of new features from design through implementation and production.
• Collaborate with architects to ensure system consistency, scalability, and strategic alignment.
• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Drive improvements to platform architecture, engineering practices, and development standards.
• Monitor, maintain, and continuously improve production services.
• Mentor and support developers through knowledge sharing, code reviews, and technical guidance.

Requirements

• 7+ years of commercial Java development experience, including technical leadership.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java 17+ and Spring Boot.
• Solid knowledge of Hibernate, SQL, and microservices architecture.
• Practical experience with TDD, BDD, and automated testing.
• English proficiency (min. B2).
• Must be based in the European Union region with a valid work permit.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS cloud services.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks like JUnit, Cucumber, or Selenium.
• Experience with Unix/Linux, shell scripting, and large-scale databases.
• Interest in agent-based workflows and AI-augmented development practices.
