What you will do

  • Develop and articulate a software product vision and strategy aligned with company missions.
  • Manage change and configuration management systems critical for design iteration on space vehicles and lunar landers.
  • Own the software roadmap and prioritize features based on data-driven customer needs and technical feasibility.
  • Use AI to prototype and ship new product features quickly.
  • Lead cross-functional teams of aerospace, manufacturing, and software engineers to drive product adoption.
  • Define and monitor key performance metrics to iterate on product functionality and success.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, refugee, or granted asylum.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, software development, or hardware engineering.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in SQL for independent data retrieval and evidence-based decision-making.
  • Strong ability to influence software architecture and handle complex technical trade-offs.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

Nice to have

  • Experience developing hardware configuration and change management systems, especially in the aerospace sector.
  • Proven track record of achieving operational excellence goals, such as defect reduction and cycle time optimization.
