What you will do

• Design and implement real-time detection rules and pipelines over high-throughput Kafka event streams.
• Build a pluggable detection engine and rule framework to translate raw telemetry into customer-facing alerts.
• Develop machine-learning and behavioral-anomaly models, integrating LLM-based reasoning into production flows.
• Translate security research into production-grade detections in partnership with researchers.
• Manage production detections, including observability, latency SLOs, and incident response.
• Work across a polyglot stack including Python, Go, and Java.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience building backend/distributed systems at scale.
• Programming mastery in Python; Go experience is a strong plus.
• Hands-on experience with event-streaming architectures (Kafka) and distributed data processing.
• Proficiency with relational and document stores (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and caching (Redis).
• BS or MS in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Ramat-Gan, Israel office.
