Security Engineer (Cloud Security)

What you will do

• Lead threat modeling and security architecture reviews with R&D and Product teams.
• Drive vulnerability management and remediation by writing Terraform, submitting code pull requests, and developing security automations.
• Extend cloud detection and response capabilities by authoring detection rules, monitoring cloud environments, and investigating live incidents.
• Use Wiz to protect Wiz by assessing, monitoring, and hardening multi-cloud environments while influencing the product roadmap.
• Partner with DevOps and Federal teams to harden CI/CD pipelines, container infrastructure, Kubernetes, and FedRAMP environments.
• Enable secure-by-design cloud and AI development without slowing engineering velocity.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Product Security, Cloud Security Engineering, or DevSecOps.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP; Kubernetes, including AWS EKS; and container infrastructure.
• Experience with cloud networking, including VPCs and Security Groups, and cloud IAM at scale.
• Hands-on Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform and security automation using Python, Go, or Shell.
• Experience with security reviews, vulnerability management, and detection and response operations in cloud-native environments.
• Legal right to work in Israel without visa sponsorship is required; visa sponsorship is not offered.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience leading threat modeling and security architecture reviews with software engineering or R&D teams.
• Experience with cloud detection, security monitoring, live incident response, CNAPP, CSPM, or CIEM solutions.
