Security Engineer (Cloud)

TL;DR

Security Engineer (Cloud): Performing security reviews, vulnerability management, and detection and response operations in cloud-native environments with an accent on securing hirify.global’s products, CI/CD infrastructure, and production environments. Focus on threat modeling, building scalable detection solutions, and partnering with engineering teams to deliver secure-by-design solutions.

Location: Tel Aviv. Applicants must have the legal right to work in Israel without visa sponsorship.

What you will do

• Lead threat modeling and security review exercises across production and CI/CD environments.
• Drive vulnerability management and remediation efforts by prioritizing issues and designing preventative controls.
• Extend detection and response capabilities by building scalable solutions to identify and investigate malicious activity.
• Collaborate with the hirify.global Federal team to ensure FedRAMP environment compliance.
• Build functional partnerships with engineering and operations teams to deliver secure-by-design solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in security engineering or operations in cloud environments.
• Strong proficiency with AWS platforms and services.
• Experience with Kubernetes (EKS) and container infrastructure.
• Expertise in IAM and managing cloud identities at scale.
• Proficiency in secure development and IaC solutions like Terraform and Helm.
• Automation and tooling development skills in Python, Go, Shell, HCL, or Rego.

Nice to have

• Experience with CNAPP, CSPM, or CIEM solutions.
• Background working with remote, globally distributed teams.
• Experience in organizations developing software or managed infrastructure services.
