Senior Cloud Security Engineer (Cybersecurity)

TL;DR

Senior Cloud Security Engineer (Azure/AWS/Kubernetes): Building secure-by-default cloud platforms and scalable guardrails with an accent on preventive controls, Kubernetes security, and cloud network automation. Focus on engineering CSPM capabilities, hardening AKS/EKS environments, and developing self-service security workflows.

Location: Hybrid in Tel Aviv (working up to three days per week in office)

What you will do

• Own the security architecture, guardrails, and automation patterns for Azure and AWS environments.
• Develop and evolve Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) capabilities, including policies and automated remediation.
• Engineer cloud network security controls, such as network segmentation, cloud-native firewalls, and WAF configurations.
• Define and enforce security best practices for Kubernetes (AKS/EKS), including RBAC, workload isolation, and cluster hardening.
• Partner with engineering teams on architecture reviews to design secure and compliant solutions.
• Build tooling and self-service workflows to reduce manual effort and improve security consistency.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in cloud security, security engineering, or cloud platform engineering.
• Deep hands-on security experience in Azure or AWS (experience in both is strongly preferred).
• Hands-on experience securing production AKS/EKS environments (RBAC, network policies, admission controls).
• Proven expertise in cloud network security, including firewalls, WAFs, and secure connectivity patterns.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, or CloudFormation) and scripting (Python, PowerShell, or Bash).
• Experience working in regulated environments.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting compliance programs such as FedRAMP, SOC 2, ISO 27001, or NIST.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
• Expertise in cloud identity and access management (RBAC, workload identity, service principals).
