What you will do

• Design and maintain dbt projects, models, and transformation frameworks using dbt Core and advanced SQL.
• Develop cloud data warehouse solutions using AWS Redshift, S3, Glue, Athena, Lambda, and Step Functions.
• Build batch and near real-time data pipelines to integrate data from APIs, SaaS, and healthcare platforms.
• Design dimensional data models including star schemas, snowflake schemas, and slowly changing dimensions (SCDs).
• Optimize data structures and query performance for large-scale analytical workloads.
• Collaborate with BI developers and stakeholders in an Agile environment to deliver trusted datasets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data warehousing and cloud data engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with dbt Core (macros, snapshots, tests, lineage).
• Advanced SQL and proficiency in Python for data engineering and automation.
• Proficiency with Amazon Redshift and AWS cloud services.
• Knowledge of dimensional data modeling techniques.
