What you will do

• Work within a defined software life cycle, including requirements understanding and participation in design reviews.
• Create software design documentation and implement code according to coding standards.
• Write and validate unit tests, debug issues, and support process improvement efforts.
• Deliver work on time against agreed schedules, and derive algorithm design from detailed requirements.
• Collaborate with multiple software development teams to reuse developed software across programs.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced engineers under moderate supervision.

Requirements

• U.S. person / U.S. citizenship required to meet ITAR requirements and eligibility for security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, or Physics (or equivalent education/training/experience).
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in Windows or Linux application software development, with object-oriented design experience.
• Expertise in one or more: C# .NET, Java, C++, and/or Web UI.
• Experience writing unit tests and debugging code.
• Experience with formal structured lifecycle development and Agile software development process management.
