Salary: $220,000–$280,000 CAD

What you will do

• Design and implement security architecture across encryption, key management, IAM, and core infrastructure.
• Set technical direction for novel systems, including AI/agentic architectures and major platform integrations.
• Partner with engineering and product teams to embed secure-by-default design into development workflows.
• Provide technical mentorship to Security Software Engineering, Product Security, and Security Operations teams.
• Serve as a senior technical escalation point for complex security design challenges.
• Translate technical security risks into business terms for leadership and compliance stakeholders.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in security engineering with depth in encryption, IAM, or cloud security.
• Hands-on experience securing AI-integrated systems, including LLM applications and agentic architectures.
• Experience operating in regulated environments such as HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC 2, or PIPEDA.
• Proven ability to influence engineering decisions and behavior without formal authority.
• Strong strategic partnership skills to collaborate across product and security functions.
• Must be based in Canada for this role.
