What you will do

• Stand up SIEM and detection engineering pipelines to investigate anomalies.
• Standardize and enforce RBAC on critical systems and AI agents.
• Implement LLM-assisted code analysis to address tenant isolation and prompt injection.
• Design data de-identification and isolation approaches for privacy-by-design.
• Lead SOC 2 compliance operations and incident response functions.
• Partner with Trust and Safety teams on child safety and responsible AI deployments.

Requirements

• 7+ years in security roles, with at least 3 years in leadership positions.
• Demonstrated experience implementing security controls in fast-moving engineering organizations.
• Experience securing container-based cloud environments (AWS EKS) including IAM and network security.
• Proven track record leading GDPR compliance and SOC 2 audits.
• Excellent writing and communication abilities to translate complex problems into actionable consensus.

Nice to have

• Background in education data privacy (FERPA, COPPA).
• Experience defending systems from AI threats like prompt injection.
• Experience in nonprofit or mission-driven organizations.
