TL;DR
Senior Security Engineer (AI): Driving security engineering efforts and implementing guardrails for the company's AI-first strategy with an accent on threat management, cloud infrastructure security, and incident response. Focus on architecting secure solutions for AI/ML workloads, automating security tasks, and fostering a collaborative security culture across the engineering organization.
Location: Must be based in Mexico (Remote or Hybrid from Mexico City office).

What you will do
- Monitor active threats and lead remediation plans for AI-related attack vectors like prompt injection and model poisoning.
- Audit and remediate critical security exposures across cloud infrastructure.
- Manage the end-to-end incident response lifecycle.
- Implement advanced automation and AI agents for security tasks, metrics collection, and reporting.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to architect secure, scalable solutions and implement governance for AI/ML workloads.
- Serve as a recognized security expert and drive technical process improvements.
Requirements
- 4+ years of industry experience in security engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (VPC, EC2, S3, EKS) and production security controls.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes architecture and operating EKS in production.
- Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Proficiency in Python for security tooling and automation.
- Must be based in Mexico to support remote or hybrid work from the Mexico City office.
Nice to have
- Experience in the financial services industry.
- Familiarity with compliance standards like ISO 27001, SOC2, NIST, SOX, or PCI.
- Experience with IAM tools (Okta), Zero Trust architectures, and DLP solutions.
- Experience with SOAR technologies.
