What you will do

• Lead the technical strategy and execution of migrating complex Oracle PL/SQL logic to .NET 8 microservices.
• Design and oversee cloud deployment architecture using AWS EKS and AWS Service Mesh.
• Provide technical direction, mentorship, and code review guardrails for a team of 5 backend engineers.
• Define microservices patterns, database communication strategies, and performance-tuning guidelines.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for the migration initiative.

Requirements

• Must be based in the USA
• 10+ years of software engineering experience with 5+ years in system architecture.
• Expert-level proficiency in .NET 8, C#, and building robust Web APIs.
• Deep hands-on experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL stored procedures.
• Proven experience with AWS cloud infrastructure, specifically EKS and service mesh architectures.
• Experience leading or mentoring development teams of 4–6 engineers.
