TL;DR
Senior UX Researcher (Fintech): Leading end-to-end UX research for the D2C experience with an accent on qualitative and mixed-method research. Focus on uncovering meaningful customer insights to shape product decision-making and improve overall user experience.
Location: Hybrid (Manchester, UK). Minimum 50% of working time per month must be spent in the office.

What you will do
- Lead end-to-end UX research across complex and high-risk problem spaces within the D2C proposition.
- Design and deliver qualitative and mixed-method research tailored to specific research objectives.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and UX Designers to ensure insights meaningfully inform product decisions.
- Communicate findings through storytelling, articulating evidence, risks, opportunities, and trade-offs.
- Contribute to the research repository to build a reusable understanding of customer behavior.
- Promote high standards of research quality, ethics, and customer-centered thinking.
Requirements
- Significant experience planning and delivering end-to-end UX research in digital environments.
- Strong qualitative research skills and the ability to tackle ambiguous research challenges.
- Expertise in selecting and applying appropriate research methods based on the problem context.
- Excellent synthesis and storytelling skills to translate evidence into actionable insight.
- Confidence in influencing stakeholders through customer understanding and evidence.
- Must be based in or able to commute to Manchester, UK for a hybrid setup (min 50% office).
Nice to have
- Experience working within regulated, complex, or customer-facing industries.
- Familiarity with modern remote research and usability testing tools and platforms.
