TL;DR
Lead DevSecOps Engineer (Clearance Required): Ensuring configuration management, SBOM generation, and secure CI/CD build/deployment pipelines for development and classified test environments with an accent on DevSecOps security compliance and Software Certification & Accreditation (C&A) artifacts. Focus on integrating software applications and containers with internal environments while managing automated/manual test environments and infrastructure-as-code delivery.

What you will do
- Ensure software baselines are configuration managed, properly tagged, and versioned.
- Track key software measures (SLOC) per release and manage SBOM for licenses, tools, and libraries (COTS/FOSS).
- Manage Agile planning and issue tracking, plus build pipeline infrastructure for development and operational software versions.
- Deploy software versions to unclassified and classified test environments, including transfer/packaging and installer/script support.
- Set up, configure, and maintain manual and automated test environments and support integration with internal environments (e.g., SIPR Lab).
- Ensure application and container-level cybersecurity compliance, generate C&A artifacts, and support continuous improvement with the Lead Architect.
Requirements
- US Citizenship required; must be eligible to obtain a government security clearance (Clearance level: Secret).
- Knowledge of modern DevSecOps tools and practices: Docker/podman, Kubernetes, OpenShift, GitLab CI.
- Knowledge of cloud computing design and security principles.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code; experience integrating DevOps tools into end-to-end pipelines.
- Experience with Agile development tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence).
- Experience supporting teams with requirements interpretation, interface definition, and testing.
