What you will do

• Develop networking features and SDK APIs for next-generation ASICs in an Agile environment.
• Prototype, design, and develop software data plane and packet processing components.
• Document architectures, procedures, and processes; contribute to process improvements.
• Continuously review product and code for performance and optimization opportunities.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and use cases for the platform.
• Collaborate across teams and partners on advanced path finding initiatives.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience as a software developer in Layer2/Layer3 networking or related systems.
• Excellent C and C++ skills; working knowledge of Python.
• Hands-on knowledge of Layer2/Layer3 features such as LAG, LACP, QoS, MAC learning, Q-in-Q, Ethernet OAM, and IP routing.
• Experience with SDK development / HAL layer for Broadcom or Marvell chips.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, including debugging and analyzing distributed systems.
• Ability to architect, design, and implement complex solutions and meet deadlines.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes or other container platforms.
• Experience with SAI and SONIC.
• Technical leadership experience influencing technological direction through hands-on work.
