What you will do

• Develop embedded software for the hirify.global NOS (modified Linux operating system).
• Participate in all stages of software development, including requirements analysis, architectural design, implementation, and testing.
• Troubleshoot software issues and provide verification and customer support.
• Design and develop unit tests and test-automation suites.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and System Architects to implement new features without compromising performance.
• Influence the software architecture to improve resiliency, debuggability, and maintainability.

Requirements

• Strong programming skills in C, C++, and Python.
• Familiarity with the Linux development environment.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills.
• Strong organizational skills to manage time, resources, and priorities independently.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of network routers/switches or routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP).
• Experience with open-source software development, Debian, containers, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with automated test frameworks such as Jenkins.
• Experience with design and development tools like Atlassian (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket), Eclipse, or GDB.
